This is an unassuming cosy restaurant tucked away in Primrose Hill. We visited first on a Saturday night. The restaurant was packed which created a nice atmosphere and the service was excellent. The food was very well presented and tasty. We went back for Sunday lunch as they do a special roast on sundays and that was fabulous. This is an excellent restaurant for veggies and a real step up from the usual café-esque fare of vegetarian eateries.

Quite a big change since the last time we visited as the food menu is now all vegan giving a far better choice. We we went on Sunday and had a lovely filo encased roast with mustard sauce and vegetables as the special for the day. They also seem to be introducing some of the more unusual type dishes such as a living ravioli with cashew nut "cheese" which again was excellent. They really do seem to be upping their game.

Nice and large restaurant with a varied menu. We ate their twice on 2 consecutive days. The first was a night-time meal with the food being very elegantly presented with attention to detail and flavour in abundance. As we sat near to the kitchen we got a glimpse of their burgers and they looked so tasty and we were so impressed with the night-time meal that we cam back the next day for lunch to try the burgers for ourselves and were not disappointed. The burgers were full of flavour with relish, caramalised onion and a very tasty dressed salad pulling it up beyond the run of the mill veggie-burgers. We'd definitely eat here again and recommend it whole-heartedly.

Classy setting with nice airy decor combined with a novel "by weight" buffet style approach made for a very memorable couple of visits. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed and tables spaced far enough apart to make it easier to relax. The food was a revelation, with a vast buffet where each item was clearly labelled for suitability (including egg). The array of wonderfully prepared salads, warm savouries and sides such as spiced potato wedges meant there was something for everyone. The food is then taken to the bar where it is costed by weight. No hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

Very modern restaurant that offers some stunning and very different dishes to the norm. The dishes are all vegan with many raw dishes. The dishes we tried included a raw beetroot and cashew cheese ravioli, spiced water melon and tomato dish served with cucumber/chive pearls, pad thai and green curry. For desert the chocolate and orange marbled ganache was stunning - in fact it all was. This is a definite top choice for us next time we're in the area.

Tucked away in the backstreets off Regent Street, this is an oasis of vegetarian food. We tried the mushroom and ale pie along with the stir fried asian vegetables with toasted cashews. The puff pastry pie was full of strong flavour and went well with the thick fries and mushy peas. The stir fried asian vegetables had a deep flavour from the teriyaki sauce with the brown rice and cashews providing a superb contrast. Even though these were excellent dishes, the star was the home made brown bread served with an olive oil and balsamic dipping pot. The taste was stunning and worth the journey just for that. The only slight niggle is that the restaurant itself is quite small with lots of small tables packed closely together.

There is also a vegetarian take away linked with this called Mrs Marengo's a few doors down that does drinks, sandwiches and cakes. We likes the egg-free cookies and fruit slice.

The restaurant has just been revamped with new fixtures and fitting, but sadly the menu has shrunk massively with only a small subset of the old food still remaining. That said, this is still a good place to get a veggie fix in Swansea with a choice of salads, cakes, samosas, hot daily specials and their tasty burgers.

The café counter is situated at the rear of the health shop with the main seating being upstairs. The food changes daily with a variety of specials and favourites like curried pasties. Combined with a wide variety of salads and drinks, this makes for the perfect veggie pit-stop when in this part of the world.
